Journey with us through the history of music-making, distribution, and development from the phonograph to modern-day technology. We are pleased to present, The Renaissance DJ 2.0 – a one-of-a-kind interactive theatre production, proudly sponsored by Go Create It, Pioneer DJ and CircuitMess.

Our Renaissance series recognizes the importance of connecting past to present.   Our passion for music would not exist without the trying process that the music industry underwent to achieve its current influence.  We are looking forward to our second rendition of The Renaissance DJ.  A vibrant theatre performance, filled with interactivity, culture, and education – with a spin.  Our Renaissance DJ 2.0 show will take place on May 4^th, 2022 at the Lester B. Pearson Memorial Theatre in Brampton.

Our debut Renaissance DJ performance in November 2021 at The Rose Theatre, was a completely virtual experience, however, the hundreds of empty seats were far exceeded by the 5920 virtual registrants and 215 classrooms that tuned in across Ontario.

With restrictions lifting, we are thrilled to connect with our first in-person, large-scale audience in two and a half years! An in-person and more intimate crowd permits more interactivity, and the restoration of the theatre atmosphere that we all have missed.  In addition to previously covered content, our Renaissance DJ 2.0 performance will expand on the development and function of speakers and microphone technology, to further demonstrate the advancement of musical accessibility and convenience.
